Eastern Front Medal For Review

Hello!
I recently traded a torn valley forge cadet hat that I thought I would never be able to get rid of for this beaten up Eastern Front medal. The ribbon ring is completely broken off, so I can't see any potential manufacturer number. There is a circular dent to the left of the eagle. What do you guys think, original?
