Africa medal opinions welcome

I have a questions about the Africa medal, is it a well known Version?

That is not one I would care to have. Although the medal itself may be a good one, the mounting is not an original TR Period assembly IMO. That Italian RSI collar insignia does not belong on a German parade mount. And the mounting itself is reminiscent of many such medal bars, sold as reproductions, by Kelley's Militaria about eight years ago or more. Kelley's offered many such examples of these on multi-place German medal bars and the Italian RSI insignia was a consistent feature of these reproductions. In addition, the ribbon furling, lack of a ribbon rosette, and the pin and catch are all traits indicative of the reproduction medal bars that were sold by Kelley's Militaria.

Hi Winfried, medal looks a good late zinc Lorioli production (maybe a type 4), but I agree with Tom that all the rest is a big red flag.
