Luftwaffe 25yr LS - Maker Marked

Here is a mark taken from an EK2 for sale on estand.

Wayne, that's a maker mark I would expect, but I've got old eyes and I can't see any "L" on the LS medal. There is what could be the horizontal part of an "L" (see image), but I can't tell if it's scratch similar to the one seen next to the "2". Two pairs of eyes will probable see more than one though

It looks like the bottom part of the L is there.

Possible that the top part has chipped off with the original plating.

You would need a close up of the entire mark to know for sure.

You would think that the stamping process was hard enough that it would
indent the iron also.
