2 Blue division medals

I have a couple of Blue Division medals to show - a beauty and a beast.
First the beauty - I found one that's got a lot of finish left.

Hi Steve, the lower medal looks to have had bad zinc pest and then been recoated ? The ribbons looks fine to me but after the Memel ....

Thanks Ian! I've never seen a zinc medal so "pested" out, I just thought it was a fake, glad to hear it's got a chance. Here's a picture of the maker mark. Any other comments would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Steve,

I agree with Ian and Stukapilot. I think both medals are original. As mentioned, the second one has a bad case of zinc rot and someone went and painted it in the hopes of making it look better.
