The good news is that the dealer has agreed a full refund for medal and packet so chalk one up for the forum.Many thanks for your help and for saving me 75 euros. It has already gone towards a Wachtler & Lange EK1 which I have put before the forum.

Hi andy have just clicked onto this thread. Not the best of pics but medal looked fine. You did the right thing to exchange when in doubt, its just not worth the risk.All the best.
