    Russian Front Medal marked "50"?

Can anyone show me an Ostmedaille marked "50" for Karl Gschiermeister of Vienna?

We tried in the past to get makers from bags where found to try an identify makers that way, but few are found with MMs.....and there were many makers. Possibly someday collectors together can solve the mystery to be able to identify each makers medals by their different details, but you never. Know someone may have one worth the fifty mark.

As far as I know "50" never made Ost medals.

      My books:

      - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
      - THE SS TK RING
      - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
      - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
      - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

      and more!

I agree, as far as I know there has never been a "50" marked pouch been found, nor legit 50 marked Ostmedaillen.

              Hi Vladimir

Nice medal, IMO its OM 60 though, and not a OM 50.

The details check out, tips of the leaves, how they are filled, broadening of the sword, feathers ect.. even the unclear maker mark.

A can post one of my OM 60 tonight, if you like to compare.

But of everybody can belief what they want

                Hi, Sveimhugi!

In my collection there is a medal with a maker mark "60". The maker mark on the shown medal differs. It is difficult to determine the maker by a stamp. Several makers could use identical stamps.
I incline to opinion too that Karl Gschiermeister didn't make ostmedaille.
P.S. Also didn't make ostmedaille Franz Mannert "73", Hugo Lang "117".

                Best regards, Vladimir.

                  Hi again Vladimir

Well for me its still a OM 60 but its dosent really matter

But I agree with you on the OM 73 and OM 117.
For me the OM 73 is a OM 13 with a flaw in the Maker Mark and the OM 117 is a OM 20 upside down

                  Skál from Iceland!
