Received this baby, that's a really beautiful award, I just love it's case

looks just like my baby, are there any makermarks on yours?
i´ve seen some cases with a little papertag on the inside of the lid with the makers name.. but mine looks pretty much like yours except it's in slightly better condition mine measures about 4,11 both ways and has a needle sewn on the back.. i'll try to post a picture shortly..

Is that some sort of logo showing at the top of the Wächtler & Lange label inside your case 1 (post #6)? Could you show that larger please?

Couldn't agree more !

These medals and the EK are just so beautiful regardless of the fact they are
common. So is the mother's cross. Heck, most of the German medals are
beautiful
