Non-combatant bar for a veteran of China service, the Great War (WWI), and a civil industrialist into the Third Reich period. Nice bar.

        Hi Brent,

It's a nice medal bar as Scott says. However it looks to me like it was played with a bit. It's possible that someone removed the medals from the bar at one time or another or at the very least tugged on the medals, causing the suspension rings to pull out from under the ribbons. The bar would look much nicer if the clips and suspension rings were tucked back under the ribbons where they belong. (Like the way it is on the China Service Medal.)

Also, the 40-Year Faithful Service Decoration and the Prussian 15-Year Long Service Cross for Unteroffizier should be switched around. The military long service should take precedence over a civil long service. If you swap them back they way they belong, the bar will look better and the medals will align more properly. Notice the position of the clips on the two blue ribbons: The clip on the last blue ribbon is set higher up than the first one. Obviously it was set up that way to accommodate a larger medal and the 40-Year Faithful Service Decoration is indeed larger than a Prussian 15. Whoever played with this bar thought it would look cool to have the medal with the big swastika smack dab in the middle of the bar.

        Best regards,
        Tom
