Okay, so I should have added "in my opinion" to my previous post.

There are many more than two types of this medal and my reasons for doubting their originality are well documented on the forum, so I won't go over that old ground again and at the risk of sounding pedantic, June 1945 still technically makes it postwar

Yes Patrick, yours is the same as chahler's, but Antonio and I have always disagreed on its originality.

No, I don't disagree.
I consider a piece fake until proven it is original.

The big problem is that some pieces are "border-line" and we don't know enough about. And it is absolutely wrong compare these border line pieces with known originals, because it is like compare apples with oranges.
It happened the same in a lot of ther TR fields: for example the flat back Juncker Anti-Partisan Badges, or the Souval APBs (not only one type, but two!)... All considered fakes and now we know they are unquestionable originals.
When they were considered fakes it was absolutely wrong compare them with the Juncker semi-hollow types.

I found an 8 year SS medal that we don't consider original from a source that brought it back on june '45. And I'm sure we have a lot more to discover.

In this case, even if I like the medal bar, I can't say the SS medal is good.
