WWII german Ribbon Bar Help...

I'd like the forum's opinion on the authenticity of this ribbon bar. None of it glows under black light.

well, the ribbon order is correct, and I like the thick pin on the back, and the devices are centered correctly...

I dont care for the way the backing is stitched on, but it is acceptable. I dont see to many Luft bars with the Ost medal either, but again, acceptable.

Everything seems to be in order, how do you feel about it? Something tells me you are second guessing yourself for a reason.

... Looks good to me, I actually prefer the cruder stitching like on this backing .... Nice clean bar.

Mark, I've had this bar for many years (pre-internet), and always liked it. I believe the guy I got it from (an old friend and long-time private colector) thought it was "good" when he sold it to me. However, since I have discovered this enlightening web site, I don't trust my own instincts as much as I used to! So I put this bar up for public scrutiny to see if it goes in my display or the dreded drawer of shame.

Thanks for your feedback, and any others that wish to give theirs.

The plus on this is that the devices are lined up. I like the bar. I've seen all kinds of stitching and this is OK. The pin and catch look good.

Looks good Mark is right, you don´t see an eastmedal too often on a Luft-ribbon bar

WOW -- that's a good looking bar. The Luft eagles on yours seem much more detailed than the one on my bar, although the overall quality of your bar is much nicer than mine...

If I'm not mistaken, the gold Luft eagle should come before the silver one.
