Opinion on Medal Bar and Memel Medal

I would like an opinion on this odd bar, I have an opinion, but I would like yours. Sorry for the images they are off of Instagram. So what do you think?

This bar looks bad- a put-together. A photo of the reverse will confirm.

Hi Jody,

I agree with Pierce. This medal bar is really bad. The Memel Medal is fake, IMO, and so is the Czech Annexation Medal. Better pictures will reveal that some of the other medals are also fake. This is an example of the "classic" type of medal bar fakes: Only the most common medals on the bar will be original and the others fake. Most if not all of the ribbons will be reproduction stock, artificially aged. I suspect that the pin on that bar will be round at the catch end, then will flatten and flare out at the hinge end. The pin will be brass and it may even have a black oxide finish.

Hi Guys,
I agree for all the same reasons. I am just trying to help this person. Tom as you know, I am not a novice when it comes to medal bars.

Yes, it's junk. And, Tom makes a good point that even the Czech medal looks fake.

I agree, the bar is a fake.

The Sudeten medal is a modern fake, I've seen a lot of them in Germany last year, so I think they could come from there. Maybe a new german made fake.

About the Memel to be honest I would like to see some better pictures, I'm not so sure it is a fake.
