Austrian annexation medals

I got some medals just in time for Christmas and there was two Austrain annexation medals. One with ribbon and needle and one as a parade mount.
I also go some eagles, an eastern front medal with envelope and and BSW IAB along with a "spanish" early type wound badge and some dog tags.

What do you think about the Austrian medals and the rest?

Hi Felix,

I think everything looks really nice. It looks like the parade-mounted Austrian Annexation Medal has a flimsy, replacement suspension ring but otherwise very nice. The brooch-mounted Austrian Annexation Medal looks great in all respects.
The untitled paper packet by Schmidhäußler is probably for an annexation medal, rather than for the East Medal it is paired with.

Hi Felix, I agree with Tom, everything looks good and very nice.
About the packet I can add that it is absolutely not common find packets for the Flower war Medals, and if you make a set with the Austrian annexation medal you'll have a very beautiful set!

Just a question, Tom. I've always seen these packets with only 1 OKT Sudetenland medals. Are they also found with the Austrian Annexation medals, especially in groups with provenance?

Hi Felix,

Nice items! Not related to the Anschluss medals but concerning an item in the "rest" of your lot...

From a distance, the nice silver summer uniform eagle at the top of your second picture looks like a first pattern Assmann bird like the gold specimen I attached. Exists in various metals and hardware set-up and can be found with or without the Assmann "A" on the reverse of the right wing
