Yes ... these are all I have ... a bit small I do admit. I also think these are scanned pictures and thus the color appears brighter than it actually is.

Hi Darrell, the award looks like the bronze washed type to me, although the light of the camera is hiding its real colour. The award does not cry out fake but closer pics are definately required. If you are thinking about buying it there would be a risk. but it does n,t appear to be like any fake i have seen. Me personally would ask for better pics and if not successful move on. Hope this is of some help.

Difficult to tell from these pictures if it's a buntmetall or a zinc variant but either way I'm confident that it is bronze and original.

Hi Darrell, much better pics, nice bronze original award . MM on left side looks raised not sure about the one at bottom could be raised also. Looks zinc to me with a bronze coating, buntmetal ones have more of a sheen to then, the one you show looks dull (dont take this as gospel as it is hard to tell with pics) Anyway its nice and one for the collection. All the best.

Thanks mrg. I just noticed that it appears the end of the ribbon is sewn onto itself at one end around the loop of the medal. In fact, the ribbon is a one piece sticking up above the medal I think I'll pass on this and wait for a better more complete example ...

Hi Darrell well spotted, crafty. Most of these award the ones that i have seen anyway, have soiled ribbons, one of my own has virtually lost all of its green edging whilst my other zinc ones appear to have been used to wipe someones nose. All the best
