Interesting two piece ribbon bar

Here is something I just picked up; a two place ribbon bar with the Bavarian König Ludwig-Kreuz along with the Anschlussmedaille.

Are the two possible without for example the Ehrenkreuz 1914 -1918?

Was the Bavarian award perhaps issued in, for example, 1919 , after the First World War, Freikorps perhaps?

What do the experts say / think?

They stopt awarding the König Ludwig Kreuz when the war ended so a Ehrenkreuz without swords should be there.
Unfortunately (since I really like bars with the K-L Kreuz ribbon) I have a bad feeling about it. If it is original it is a very nice civilian bar so I am rooting for you.
Ribbons looks original at least but I think new old stock.

One caveat is that the person had to apply for the Ehrenkreuz. In this instance perhaps he didn't. You never know.

That is of course correct, thats why I wrote should. But I cant remember ever seeing a post 1934 König Ludwig Kreuz bar (medal or ribbon) without a hindy so that would be rare.

Thank you for the input and I was hoping this would generate some discussion.

It is an unusual combination and you are correct, I would expect an Ehrenkreuz.

I just don't know about this one. I don't rule it completely out. Would be odd for the wearer not to "upgrade" his medal / ribbon bar.
