4 medal bar for review

Hi Guys,

I would really appreciate comments on this 4 medal bar - it looks good to me but I would be very grateful for your opinions on whether this is a period bar or a post-war assembly. Also if good, what would be its value?

Looks like a fine original bar.

Value is just a guess on my part 210 - 240 Euros.

Hi Guy,

It looks like a good medal bar to me, although it appears that someone went and polished up the fronts of the two annexation medals. (Makes them look a bit odd.)

Are we sure the Czech Annexation medal is good? The figures don't look very Aryan to me.

It is a beautiful and rare original Assmann/Schickle medal.
When you see one of them on a medal bar, then the bar is always an unquestionable original.

Yes Don, until few years ago the Memel medals with this design were considered fakes.
If you look at this thread you can see (post 5) both the types: Schickle and "Schreiber" (possibly Assmann). In period catalogs of both these makers the 3 flower war medals are present with this design (and both showed on Memel book).
