The Order around his neck is the Finnish Order of White Rose with Swords, Commander Cross.

Thanks guys i really like it. As a kid i always watched old black and white war movies to see the german ribbon bars. Super cool to have picture of him wearing the same bar. The general has a german cross in silver also.
