Is there a post or place to go to determine what medal goes where on a tunic with loops? Thanks Joe

Yes there was an order of precedence
here is a good site that is about 95% accurate for period German medals (that would be found on a ribbon/medal bar)
medals.p
For combat /qualification awards, up to two could be worn on the left Brest, One campaign shied, one campaign cuff~tie and one pin-back award, IC 1, Kvk 1, etc.
The above is just a guide line the rules where broken often.
If you show us a picture of the tunic then I am sure we can giver you a good guess of what might belog to be there

You could probably post a picture of the tunic and members would advise on what would be appropriate.

In the center set of award loops I would put a WWI EK1 and above it (should fit) an EK1 spange. To the viewers left would be an Assault badge - if it is a black wrapper then a PAB would be nice, if gray then a GAB. Below the assault badge I would place the wound badge - could either be WWI or WWII. Where you have the wound badge could be the place for another WWI EK1 equivalent.
These are my opinions, you might want to get Tom Yanacek (moderator) to look at this.
