That pin and catch are post-war in my opinion. Certainly not the ones I'm used to seeing.

The gold one is fine in my opinion.

I agree with Ian. The first one (silver) is definitely bad. Hardware, finish, and base metal all wrong. But the second one (gold) is a very nice original. I suspect that it will be marked '100' on the underside of the pin.
