It looks too good for an Ohio parts ribbon bar, particularly the EK2 Spange.

Here is an "Ohio" ribbon bar that I got directly from Paul Peters, the "Ohio" ribbon bar maker.

After receiving it, I "improved" the EK2 Spange eagle by sculpting a bigger, better head. His early ribbon bars may have used original EK2 Spanges just as he used many original ribbons and devices before running out of them. But his later bars used EK2 Spanges wherein the eagles' heads were small and badly formed.

The field gray wool backing and how it is sewn on is typical of his ribbon bars.

IMO that is a example of a "Ohio" bar. Would not feel comfortable with it.

Definite Ohio fraud bar.
Apart from all the obvious signs such as the snipped brass catch! Double stitching etc. the SS device with the mis-shapen first Rune is a one-look fake.
