Memel medal - help needed!

Hi there, I'm from Argentina, I would like to share the pictures of a Memel medal that I've found few days ago. At the very begining I've thought it was a fake but after a review in specific threads I'm not so sure, what I believe now is that it keeps the pattern of straight G 7. Any opinions are welcome, regards, Pablo

Hey Pablo, even if this was a repainted medal one thing that is incorrect is the eagle. This definitely a fake IMO.

I believe it used to be referred to as the Big Nose fake.

It is a famous "mask fake" medal. The only difference between the "normal" fakes and this one is that this one is gilted.

I call it the "BIG JUNK " fake....guy carrying the flags junk is excessively large....I agree...it's fake ....no matter what nickname of fake it is dubbed.
