    Hi Del,

I'm not really liking this medal. The detail seems very weak and the coloration/finish looks off. There seems to be gray base metal peeking through on the eyelet, so perhaps this is a late war example in zinc that someone has refinished/painted?

The suspension ring seems a bit too large as well. Can you show us a picture of the ribbon?

    Best regards,
    Tom

To be honest this is not a medal I would want in collection. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't like what I see.

        My books:

        - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
        - THE SS TK RING
        - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
        - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
        - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

        and more!

The pitting and weak details are putting me off as well.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

The medal's shape is not what I would expect to see.

Maybe it is the picture but it is out of round to me.

            Not liking it.

                Concur.

The details and the ovoid shape are very pronounced on these awards.

                    Thanks, Ian!

Was fortunate to get it with packet/ribbon in that condition.

                      cheers, del.
