    My new Eastern Front Medal

    Hi all-
    First-
Many thanks to Thomas H. for the help

I wanted to share some pics of my recent acquisition from the e-stand. The maker mark is 51, and I believe it is a type I. The details are great, no bubbling, and nice gunmetal finish. The ribbon is silky and soft, and does not glow under a black light. If anyone else has an EFM with '51' mm, please post them.
Any thoughts and comments are welcomed!
    Best Regards

Is this the only '51' marked EFM in existence? If it is, I'll sell it to the first person who shows me $25,000.00

                      Steven,
All of the Eastern Front Medals that I have seen marked "51" (Eduard Golach & Sohne) seem to be in very good condition as compared to other makers of this medal. The same can be said for medals marked "110" (Otto Zappe). These two companies seem to have produced a high quality medal. Here is mine.

                          Hi Chet, Steven

Those are beautiful looking Eastern Front medal's !!! Very nice and my all time favourite medal.

By any chance did either you Chet or Steven purchase these prime looking medals with their packets ?

If so, would you mind posting a picture of one please.

Happy Holidays and New Year to you both as well !

                            Marcus,
I only wish! I can't say that I have seen a packet for this maker (51). In the past I know that I've seen one for Otto Zappe (110). The name just "sticks" with you if you know what I mean.

@ Marcus- No packet with this one, I wish I did have one for it though. The quality of this manufacturer is incredible.
@ Chet- Very nice medal. I wonder why we don't see more of these? Since they were Type I, one would think that the number produced would be high and then taper off later on?
Thanks for the replies, and all the best to you as well.
