Just purchased this with a bunch of other items and need to make sure it is good. One thing I like is the apparent wear on the back of the ribbon. I know nothing about these, so any help is appreciated.

to me looks ok but the wear suggests replaced ribbon. the piece shows wear also on the silver ( or just the pics shown ) i have a 50 not silvered which may suggest the gold colour comming from under the silver. ribbon pin looks good.do you know if ever a cased item pleaseComment

after thought the gold looks very heavy in colour again may be just down to the pics. does the gold show on your fingers if you rub the item??Comment
