BTW ... I have seen some mint Gold WW1 badges for sale on a few dealers sites. What is a "reasonable" price for the Gold Type?

Thanks for the pictures Chris. The one that I am getting is very similiar, with the exception of an oval shaped mounting plate under the upper portion of the pin. The paint is excellent, and the price was right too.

Darell without being 'hunter' of ww1 WBs, the price is affected for several factors, my average price for a gold WB in good condition is no more than 40-50 Euro, maybe more for scarcer variation.
