I'm not sure about this Africa medal, opinions please

I have the possibility to pick up this medal for a reasonable price but before I open my wallet I wanted to ask your expert opinions on it ?

Is it good or junk ?

Hi Jim,

Like Antonio, I am a bit leery of this one. It seems to be okay detail-wise, but something looks off on it. Perhaps it is the coloration of the piece. The base metal does not look like bronze nor like zinc. Hopefully, Antonio will respond again once he sees the additional pictures. He is the one that really knows these medals well.

Not the expert here but I would be leary of this one because in the picture the top left of the structure looks like it's either touching the ring or there's a dye flaw. Also the back of the medal looks polished.

If I were you I would pass on it. If not a fake it was at least refinished.
This is not a rare medal to find on market, wait for a better and unquestionable one.
