I wanted to get opinions on this badge and possibly how much one would pay for one of these.. or Only pics I have but apparently the catch is broken or missing...

I agree it is a bit difficult to place this badge into the right category here, but we usually discuss these on the Imperial forum (although they are post 1918).
The badge is original, but I would not advise you to buy it, because of the missing catch. These Silesian eagles are not exceptionally rare and you can find a great example for around 150 USD if you keep looking for some time.

i agree with Frank, this is a good one, but you can easily find another better one. They existed in different versions, painted and enameled. I like the enameled ones more. I suggest you to make a search on this forum (in Imperial), there you will find some nice examples.
