Why can he provide the back photo? Is it glued?

To me is 97% new,...3% OK

Decorative yes,...to have it for original, definetly not

I say 99% fake with a 1% margin of error.

As much as I know I wouldn't comfortable with it at all based on the front alone.

ah yes, the infamous Ohio parts bar

that's what I thought as well and I'm sure a reverse photo would prove this theory one way or the other

Its not a theory, its a fact. You can tell the owner you dont need a reverse photo anymore.

The condition of an artifact alone should not be the sole factor in determining authenticity. I have plenty of items in my collection (ribbon bars or medals bars to name a few) that look like they were made yesterday but are in fact period pieces.

This bar has the following attributes (from the front):

1) All Third Reich Awards
2) A rare foreign award
3) Some staining to make the bar look old

These above descriptors are all attributes of an OH parts bar. Pictures of the reverse to reveal the sewing and the snipped catch would verify the answer.

big ribbon bar

I was drug in here. I want to clear the air on this. One the reason i did not show the back side is because it was in my wall display box. Also i never once ask anyone weather it was real or fake. All i wanted to know what the last ribbon was I was told and im good. Its not for sale i like it and enjoy it for what it is. The fact that im talking about this in here is a waste of time because i dont care. I have a pretty nice collection and i really enjoy it. Im not trying to pass it off.

the reason that I posted this here is because when I stated the bar was fake and a back photo would confirm, you insinuated by that a reverse photo would not provide any additional information. I posted this to show the opinions of others that are like mine, this is an Ohio parts bar, and postwar produced. This is a discussion forum, where we discuss items, its part of the hobby. Sorry I talked about your bar, I just wanted to confirm a reproduction, to make sure I'm on top of my game!

this one looks wrong too with its high-mounted brass reverse catch in my opinion.
