Medal Bar with Order of Mehdi

I pulled this one out of the safe today and thought I would photograph it. This group belonged to a member of the cruiser Leipzig. The last award is the Moroccan Order of Mehdi. Note the ribbon bar utilizes the Eastern People's award ribbon for the Order of Mehdi ribbon. I assume the tailor who assembled the ribbon bar did not have the correct ribbon so used something as close as possible to the needed ribbon.

Very nice, Gary. As you know, I've always liked that one. How strange it is to see a medal with a six-pointed star hanging from a medal bar of the Third Reich. Thanks for posting that.

What a great grouping. This is only the second Order of Mehdi I have seen mounted on a Herman medal bar.

Sorry but not "Orders of Mehdi" (no sense in this ribbon bar). The last one is the "Order of Mehdauia". Nice group......and the ribbon bar is correct for this order.
