Looking to find more about this medal bar.

It's for a soldier with 18 years service in the Heer who served in Russia, North Africa and who took part in the Anschluss of Austria. He won the War Service Cross 2nd Class with Swords and the Honour Cross with Swords (Hindenberg Cross) from the 1st War ... no Iron Crosses though so presumably a rear echelon occupation (staff, medical or something similar).

It will be interesting to see if the guys think this is more than an assembly of cheap and common parts though ...

    Cheers, Ian.

      .

Yea I thought it was strange he didn't have a iron cross so I thought he was not on the front line

All the ribbons look a little crispy in uniformity in contrast to the wear of the medals? Clearer photos would help.
I collect court mounted DAK medals but would be skeptical as when constructed and probably pass on this one by pictures and gut feeling alone.

A close-up shot of the 18year Service Cross would be good too ... the eagle's head is the key subject That's by far the most valuable of the components, followed by the Italo-German Africa Medal, again close-ups would be good front and back. The other parts are £20 to £30 pieces ... perhaps £50 for the 4 year Service Medal.

              Cheers, Ian.

IMO it is not an original assembly of the Third Reich Period. It is a postwar put-together using a mixture of original and reproduction parts. The two long service ribbons are clearly reproduction. I suspect some of the other ribbons are reproduction as well.

                Best regards,
                Tom

I can only agree, a 100% fake medal bar.
                        The Afrikamedaille looks fake too.

Yes, this one is a put-together in my opinion also.

                          Kind regards
