This came into one of my buys about 15 years ago. I have never seen another and it is the same size as the ribbon medal for this date, but has never had a ring or loop and is bronze instead of silver. Has anyone ever seen another???

No Ring

Its a normal medal in my opinion. There must have been a ring. Table medals are meant as commemorative medals, when you had an award for a certain time, but there definately never existed a table-medal for this award.

You can see in the photo of the rim, there was never any ring or loop affixed to this medal. Also, it would have had a silver finish and you can see it is solid bronze with no traces of silver or any signs of buffing.

An interesting point that as yet has not been answered is that the Commemorative medals are found in the reverse colours. Thus the Austrian medal is found in Bronze, the Memmel is found in silver and the Cez is found in silver. Your medal is interesting because being bronze this fits in with a bronze medal. Non portible - ? Is it possible that there is the simmilar for the other awards.
