Opinions requested on two SS service medals

A friend who is experiencing financial difficulties is selling off his collection.

Among his items are two SS medals.

He sent me these pictures which I am posting here. I know they do not show extreme detail, but perhaps they do show enough to warrant my requesting them for further photos or passing on them altogether.

Hello William,

I do not have much experience with SS Long Service Awards, but both of these medals posted are reproductions in my opinion. I would pass on both of them. The detail is lacking, and both appear mishapen. I do not like the suspension eyelets. The clasp pin on the 12 Year is not correct, and the ribbon lacks the embroidered SS Sigrunen.
