Silver FLL CCC

Hi guys in negotiations whether to buy this badge or not, I only have pictures of the back it seems to show the right things on the back but would like your input this is the only image i have hope you can decide for me if genuine or not by this picture alone here's hoping

Hi Frank,

Looks fine so far, only issue I can see is that it looks like the right crimp is a bit chewed up and could signify a replaced backplate.....not uncommon for FLL badges as their weak crimping left them vulnerable to loosing their plates.

Hi Frank,

Well, it certainly looks like an original CCC by Friedrich Linden. But, in all honesty, I am a bit leery of the silver finish on the front. I have a feeling that it has been re-finished. And seeing that the one side of the backplate crimp has been messed with a bit adds to my suspicion concerning the finish.

From these pictures back plate doesn't seems messed with to me. These are tool signs not made to remove the plate.
