SS 8 Year grouping

I am posting this "Vet bring back" grouping at the request of member easterneagle87 for opinions and value.
I have given my opinion on authenticity, but I personally do not give evaluations as they are totally subjective.

Pictures of the medal are not the best, but from what I see I think it is an original type I medal.
Don't know what it is the rest.

The medal looks original but why would it be totally void of stippling?

Was it prone to wearing off?

The pics seem to have lost quite a bit of resolution from the email I received to posting here, but in the originals, the stippling can just about be made out and seems ok, but the medal has been the victim of some seriosly heavy polishing.
Any thoughts on the relevance or feasibility of the other items as a group?
