Hello Ran nice looking mutterkreuz, i like them also I have all three grades and i will post the pictures. My gold mutterkreuz is in a not so often seen blue liner case.

I think that the MK has to be one of my most favorite TR awards. For its beauty I think that it is highly underated among collectors.

Greg,,I pick these up whenever I see them and usually at a good price, I have a bronze and silver. I haggled a seller at a market for a silver and mini at 65 euros, when he gave it up finally he replaced the 1 I bought in his display case with an almost near mint gold, Iam off to find him today and try to get it for at least 40! Lets hope it is my lucky day!!! I think it is a great piece and with an interesting concept to it!

The mini's are awesome but I find they are hard to come by.

Couldnt find my dealer today,but accidentaly stumbled into a militaria market right across the street from my house(the irony of it all) Got a wehrpass,MINTY blackwound badge,KVK W/OSwords, ss service cross and DAF book all for 60 euros. Then came the moment of the Gold mothers cross..The guy was closing and I made him re open his cases which he painstakingly did. It is actually a joke between me and my girlfriend because everytime someone is selling an MK i piss them off somehow. Well the gold was a bit marred on the back and the ribbon was garbage, he then tries to sell it to me for 45. I say no way and he packs it back up grumbling. I come back and make him pull it out again pretending like I will buy it, he pulls it out and I say 30. He goes to 40 and I say no way, Then he gets really pissed offf and I leave.If I would have got it for 30 I would have had a crowning moment and just would have replaced the band, but I want my gold to be MINT!

If only I had a selection of militaria here in Calgary. There are three dealers here in town, but one I rfuse to go to because he peddles fakes without opening his mind to any suggestions, the other is full of fakes and he denies and and he last has hardly any TR stuff.

I shop the antique stores and flea markets as they come but im lucky if I find a wwii period photograph. If it were not for the interent I would have nothing
