Hello, I had no idea of where to put this, has nayone ever seen anything like it. I bought a large collectio and was going to put this in the dog pile, but noticed the quality of it. I have no clue, as to what is is for, it appears to have never had a pin device of any kind on the back.
Any help would be appreciated,

I believe originals where made from aluminum and the one posted here is a repro. also original pieces are a bit more than $50.00.

Yes, this is made of Aluminium. And it has a quality feel too it. But I do not doubt it is a fake.

Jack, only looking at the back side we can only think it is a post war copy. The front design too is different from known originals.
