IMO it is a very nice original type 2.2 of the Lorioli production, a variant type with surplus metal between the swaz and the arch.

many thanks for your feedback and answers.
I think we see here another variant from the type 2 medals. Why?
Let me you explain ...

I compare the lettering "LORIOLI MILANO" and find differences to the types 2.1 / 2.2 and 2.3 ... The lettering are narrower in itself, simply smaller letters as we see on the other types!

In the attached pics from my collection you can see the difference.

The medal is 100% genuine !!!

In my opinion we have here the next type 2 variant ... please let me know what you mean?

Hi Matthias, on page 183 of the book you can see this medal.
I called it a 2.2 variant, IMO it was made from the end of the type 2.1 and the beginning of the 2.2 production. It is rare to find.

Noticeable is the very good coin quaility, i found another piece from this type in my collection. Only the lettering "De Marchis" had to suffer a bit.
I have also the same opinion respective the type classification.
