Well worth the cost.

The medal is bad for sure. Many of the "mask fake" Memel Medals will be found with the number '16' on the suspension ring.

Thanks, guys. Appreciate it. Under closer examination outside under brighter light, it indeed is marked 16 rather than 15. Another "great purchase" of mine several years ago from Kai Winkler.

Little consolation, but at least the ribbon bar I purchased separately from someone else is correct.
