This small medal was offered to me,but I know nothing about
this subject.Any comments regarding authenticity would be
very much appreciated.It measures approx. 1.6 cm and weights
2.1 grams.

it should be easy to find a ribbon for it, as it is a simple blue ribbon for long-service awards.
