Ostmedaille maker marks

Hi all,

I have in my collection 2 Ostmedaille medals. One has the maker mark '6'(Fritz Zimmermann) and recently I bought another one marked '127' (Moritz Hausch AG).

Question: these medal makers are the same for those making the Iron Cross?

Yes, each number correspond to a maker, and he can use it on every medal/badge/cross he produced.

A maker (when he has it) used also the L/ number for sale to retail shops.
