West Wall opinions?

Hi again,
Is this West Wall medal OK? I havn't seen one with such a bright golden appearance before. Is it just an early brass one, polished up?

Hi Joh, medal looks fine to me . I would agree with you the medal looks the early bronze type just highly polished highlights.You can still make out the original colour around the crevasse of the eagle, the slits in the bunker, and inbetween the lettering on the referse where the polisher could n't get to. Different but still nice.I like these awards highly underated. Copies to my knowledge are made from poor quality metal and bend easy. Hope this helps
