Another Africa medal

I have another Africa metal and I was hoping to get some opinions on this one as well. I think it might be a type 4?

Dennis, sorry to say this medal is a fake. It is one of the best fakes ever made of the Afrikamedaille, it is quite new as I've seen it for the first time only 6 months ago, but I'm sure it will fool a lot of collectors.
In the book I explain why this medal is a fake type 4.

The lettering is different compared to other type 4´s but other then that it looks really good.

It is a modern copy made probably with some kind of CNC lathe.
Medal is perfect, it has no one die flaw (Lorioli medals have a lot of die flaws!) and if a collector don't know the type to compare with, he can easily remain fooled.
But, if you compare it with an original type 4 you will see a lot of differences in writing, arch, crocodile...

Yes, I see a couple of missing die flaws now when comparing.

No, there are fakes of this medal as for all the other TR pieces, but not so many as you think!

It is worse for the memel medal. The ratio fakes vs original is just ridicules.
