SS 8 Year with Unusual Finish

This eight year medal appears to be original, but with a very strange finish. It looks like the original finish stuck in almost a camo pattern - what do you think?

Could just be water damage.....or something else that got on it at one time....not a camo finish IMO. Nice medal regardless.

Thanks for looking. These definitely didn't come in any finish type but solid, but it has a neat look to how the finish changed.

I'm sure someone will pin it to a M44 dot tunic one day, however - one of a kind, it will be!
