Gold Shop Medals

Hello to all,

I bought these four badges/medals a couple days ago from my friend's gold-buying shop. Nothing extraordinary, but four nice original pieces all the same.

The R.K. Panzer Badge and Carl Wild Silver Wound Badge were on a fake SS-Schütze Panzer-wrap and were the only things original on that.

In addition, I got a packeted Westwall Medal by Deschler and a cased 40-Tear Faithful Service Decoration.

Here is the R.K. Panzer:

It shows a good bit of use but still has a nice look to it. I also like the speckled-appearance of the reverse.

A nice condition, early-quality Westwall Medal with a original full-length of ribbon and a tattered packet marked to Deschler & Sohn of Munich:

For me it is always a pleasure to see a Westwall Medal in a packet by any maker other than Carl Poellath of Schrobenhausen.

The front and reverse of the medal: The reverse of this one is so shiny that I found it impossible to get a decent image.

Nice little score you have there. The guy that runs the Gold shop here in my town has had some nice items come through his store also from time to time. This year has been pretty lean though. Have a great festive season and I look forward to seeing you at the SOS in 2014.
