NSDAP Long Service Ribbon Bar "Old Fighter"

    Hello to all,
Here is one really terrific find. A ribbon bar sporting all three NSDAP Long Service Awards. The pictures of this do not do it justice. This is one fine piece of work and the detail is incredible. The person that wore this ribbon bar had to have been a member going back to the earliest days of the Party. Obviously a Party Member during the "Kampfzeit". I can't help but wonder, who wore this ribbon bar? Maybe this guy even stood beside Hitler on November 9, 1923 in Munich. Who knows! Anyway, he must have been one "good Nazi". I would love to own the medal bar to match this ribbon bar.
    Best regards! Tom

Very, very impressive. A "einfacher Soldat" in the first world war and a goldene Fasanen in the next.

                Hello Erich,
I know what you mean. Getting involved in politics can either make or break a man. In this instance, it certainly enhanced the life and career of this man. Well, at least for a little while anyway.
                Best regards! Tom

What is the going price for a ribbon bar with these three ribbons?

                      Thanks

                          Hello Paul,
I don't know what the going price would be, but I would think at least $350.- $500 for a ribbon bar like this. I suppose it could even be worth much more if there was provenance with this bar to a certain individual.
This bar was purchased for the incredible bargain price of $50., from the son of a WWII vet that brought it home. It is the kind of deal that does not happen often these days, but every now and then you get lucky. I feel very fortunate to own this bar.
                          Best regards! Tom
