    Social Welfare on e-stand

Since we are not supposed to post any questions regarding authenticity on the e-stand, I will post it here. The social welfare looks like a cast (poorly) repro IMHO.

All the Social Welfare medals I have seen are of coin quality. I have never seen any SW (or any German WW II medal for that matter) that had such a porous pitted surface such as this one.

I would encourage anyone to provide a counter argument if one exists.

I think in that case a moderator should ask for it to be pulled for review before it is purchased.

I am willing to send this award at my own expense to anyone with the expertise and knowledge to have it checked. I would like this confirmed one way or another

                  Hi
That doesn't look like a cast piece. In my opinion the porosity on the field is a result of incorrect acid stripping done with the very strong chemical.
