    Strange badge id help please....!!!

Hello folks. I acquired this yesterday in a box lot full of German Imperial and T.R. badges, tinnies, etc. From the standpoint of construction (pin & catch), I'm assuming it's of German manufacture, but as far as for what it represents I've not a clue. The writing almost appears syrillic. Does anyone have any ideas? EVERYTHING in the lot was German, and spanned the Franco Prussian War through WWII and all came home with the same veteran. Thanks in advance!

A guy on ebay sells a badge like this he calls it US Unit Crest.

I donĀ“t know if this is a US unit badge or not?

Sounds a bit strange/far fetched since the badge has kyrillic letters.

I think the text means something like "to do well the work in hand" and would a a quote from Aristotle, then it would make more sence being a US badge.

      Time will tell.

It's a distinctive unit insignia for the 121st Signal Bn US Army. A lot of units had their DUI's made in Germany following the war.
