They are in unissued condition and have been found without ribbon.

Not only do you have two textbook Type I medals in mint condition ie. the 4 year & 8 year...you also have a mint example of the extremely rare 'Type II' 12 year.
Unfortunately, it looks as if some twat has reshaped the suspension loop...this type should have a circular loop. Apart from the loop, it is an absolute beauty and only the second example that I know of.

I agree with JC, you have here 3 nice type I medals. I love especially the extremely rare type I 12 years, I've seen it only 2-3 times in my life.

I ask you only 2 better pictures (front-back) of the 4 years, as I don't see some details.

What's the story behind how you came in to acquiring these.

I have a lot of concerns with the 12 year. There are a lot of uneven edges, the finish is uneven, and the highlights should be polished to a mirror finish.

This is what it is supposed to look like. Notice that all edges are straight, the highlights are polished, and the stippling is even all over the medal. Also note the white wash that I don't see on the medal in question. I'm not familiar with the "Type 1", so perhaps it is different. But, I would be surprised if the edges were allowed to be that sloppy.
