Eastern Peoples Awards (Foreign Volunteers)

I had never seen one of these before and it was interesting to read up the history but I wanted to see what you guys thought. Do you think this is a real badge? It seems pretty consistent with the photos I have seen. I got a few items through a woman who's husband was a collector, and will be posting a few other items as well. What do you guys think
