    East Medal with packet

    Hello to all,

I bought this East Medal and issue packet today at a gun show. This is a mismatched set as the medal was made by Wilhelm Deumer while the packet is marked to Friedrich Orth.

    Best regards,
    Tom

Here is the packet designation and maker markings. The paper of this packet seems to be a bit more porous and absorbent than usual. It could explain why the printed designation and maker mark lacks crispness.

Even if it is a mismatched set, I like it Tom!
Medal is absolutely a Deumer, and the packet is a little bit unusual as you said. Nice find in a gun show!

            Thanks, Antonio.

Here are two more acquired over the weekend: a marked example to Förster & Barth and an unmarked one.

            Best regards,
            Tom

Both nice medals Tom! But I like especially the F&B marked one, because it is scarce to see around!

                    Thanks, Antonio.

Any idea of the maker on the unmarked example? I figured if anyone knows it would be you.

                    Best regards,
                    Tom

Sorry Tom, this morning I've checked for 1 hour, but with no convincing results...
