From these pictures the cross looks good to me. I'm not sure about the oak leaves. Do you have some better close ups?

A lot of people do not like this open type wreath.
I'm one of the ones that do not like it.
Can you tell me if the wreath is solid and whether it is magnetic or non magnetic.
Medal strikes me as being non magnetic?
Better pictures would be required.

close up of the wreath. Im very skeptical of this medal because out of all the medals from this guy I'm looking at, all of the medals have been fake so far. Is it possible that this medal is a good fake or does it have potential? ThanksComment

The Cross itself could be original but the eagle attachment and Oak leaves are almost certainly not.
There was a well-known dealer in th UK who got his hands on some original 25-Yr crosses made of tombak and had them "upgraded" to 40-Yrs. Someone supplied him with the fake eagles and oak leaves in the late 1990's and he regularly had an army 40-Yr cross on his list.
The only 40-Yr Oak leaves I believe in look like this.
